To make a little extra money, join www.reckner.com. It’s a consumer opinion research firm with offices in Mount Laurel and Philadelphia. You get paid for participating in taste tests, focus groups, web surveys, telephone surveys, and in-home product testing.  They never try to sell you anything. Compensation amounts vary (given in the form of a debit or gift card), but I have received as little as $35 for a 30 minute taste test to as much as $225 for a two hour focus group discussion about paper towels. It’s a fun, rewarding way to make a little extra money every so often.
